Are you a dedicated and compassionate Paramedic seeking a fulfilling role within a forward-thinking, innovative, and progressive PCN?

We have partnered with a well-established PCN in South London, which comprises of 5 GP surgeries with a combined population of approx. 50,000 patients. Their practices are high-achieving and innovative and have a strong ethos of teaching and training. They enjoy excellent collaborative working relationships and excited about expanding their PCN Clinical team to improve health care services for their patients.

Position Details:

* Job Title: Paramedic Practitioner

* Job Type: Full time/part-time hours available from Monday – Friday

* Location: South London

* Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including learning and development opportunities, as well as offering mentoring and educational support from their PCN GP, prescribing and clinical leads, ICB pharmacists and additional peer support systems.

About You:

* HCPC registered paramedic.

* Post-registration clinical practice experience ideally within primary care.

* Successful completion of NQP period or equivalent with up-to-date CPD portfolio.

* Effective communication in complex situations, with good interpersonal skills.

* Adaptable, problem-solving team player with integrity, patient focus, and commitment to diversity and wellbeing.

Main Duties:

* Autonomous Practice: Work independently within GP Practices and the community.

* Enhanced Clinical Assessment: Utilise advanced skills for patients with minor illness or injury, abdominal pains, chest pains, headaches, and long-term conditions.

* Support Network Contract DES Service: Key role in delivering new service specifications.

* Collaborative Work: Engage closely with GPs, clinical pharmacists, nurses, physician associates, and support staff.

* Varied Responsibilities: Includes prescribing, home visits, patient-facing care, pediatric clinics, and urgent care.
