Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: As soon as possible or September 2024

Role and Responsibilities:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to support children with special educational needs.
Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
Provide one-on-one and small group support within the enhanced resource unit.
Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Support students' social and emotional development.
Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
Monitor and report on students' progress and behavior.
Assist with personal care tasks as required.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3) are advantageous but not essential.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
