Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Groundworks and Civil Engineering) Location: Leicester, United Kingdom Salary Range: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
* Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for groundworks and civil engineering projects.
* Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
* Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including variations and claims.
* Measurement and Valuation: Measure quantities, assess work completed, and value variations.
* Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor agreements, payments, and performance.
* Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate project risks related to costs and contracts.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports on project financials and progress.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks and civil engineering projects.
* Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in cost estimation, contract administration, and measurement.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Team Player: Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with project teams.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous in calculations and documentation.
