Position Overview:
Dunbar Education is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher for a full-time position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is non-negotiable.
Enhanced DBS check on the update service is a requirement.
Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
Up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum.
