Food Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for Food Production Operative roles to join our team in Measham.
Shifts starting ASAP

As a Food Production Operative you will need to have:

Flexibility regarding shifts pattern, you will be given a daily plan
The ability to stand for long periods of time, in a repetitive role
Capability to work in cold and wet environment
Previous food / factory experience desirable but not required

Details:

Salary: £11.50 per hour, after 10pm £12.50, overtime after 40 hours paid x 1.25, after 48 hours x 1.5
Hours Available: Full Time & Part Time
Variety of shifts (AM 8am till finish or rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm to finish - depending on the department)
Location: Measham DE12 7DT

Role of a Food Production Operative:

Quality checking
Cleaning - wiping down the surfaces / cleaning the floor
The role involves manual handling / lifting up to 25kg
Working on a fresh production line sorting or preparing vegetables
Assisting with the production process
Packing/wrapping vegetables
Quality control of completed products and removing defective ones
Store / stack food in designated containers and storage areas.
