Your new job as a Quantity Surveyor will be working with a Civil Engineering client in Lincolnshire, working in the water sector. This is a well-established company working with tier 1 contractors across the UK.

Your new job
You are to be the point of contact for all commercial queries, concerns, or actions on a project. Ensure the company complies fully with its contractual responsibilities. Preparation, submission, and agreement of contract tenders, seeing a project from inception to completion. Preparation, submission, and agreement of monthly applications for payment. Preparation, submission and agreement of project variations, claims, and design changes and also preparation of project forecasts and cost plans.

Agree and process subcontractor payments. Comply with company and departmental procedures and deadlines. Prepare and submit accurate reports that analyse and demonstrate the profitability and commercial progress of a project. Work in collaboration with procurement and site management teams.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have 2-3 years experience in Quantity Surveying.

Strong numerical and analytical skills
Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Word
Working Knowledge of construction software systemWhat you'll get in return
