Astute's Renewables team is partnering a leading producer of biogas in the UK, to recruit a Shift Team Leader for its Nottingham site, to manage a shift team to optimise production output, maintenance, and safety across the site.
The Shift Team Leader role comes with a salary up to £45,000 company benefits and excellent training and development.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Site Manager you will:
Deliver best practise, plant performance and operating effectiveness. Specifically looking at compliance, availability, efficiency, and reliability.
Assist the site manager with team recruitment.
Promote a high performance culture, assessing KPIs and accountability.
Drive innovation, technically and through innovation, to increase plant performance.
Report KPIs and performance to senior management.
Ensure delivery KPIs are achieved.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Level 3 engineering qualification in engineering discipline.
Maintenance and operational knowledge within a process industry.
Personal skills
The Shift Team Leader role would suit someone who is:
Exhibits supervisor/ team leader skills.
Project management skills.
Decisive decision making
Management of SHEQ
Salary and benefits of the Shift Team Leader role:
Salary between £42,000- £45,000
25 days holiday + bank holidays.
