Production Operative

Gap personnel is recruiting production operatives based in Shoeburyness.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to permanent for the right candidate.

Pay Rate: £11.50 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday from 8:00am till 4:00pm (rota will be over 6 days. Typical shifts are 8 hours; flexibility required during busy times)

Responsibilities:

Work within our client’s Factory, operating industrial equipment.
Labelling finished products.
Operate and maintain industrial equipment efficiently and safely.
Work in cold, frozen, and ambient storerooms as needed. (PPE Supplied)
work with the wider team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Perform quality checks on finished products.
Maintain good Manufacturing Standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
Assist in other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:

Some experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not essential.
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as required.
Ability to work in cold environments and be comfortable working with industrial equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Food hygiene Level 2 – Complete through gap personnel.
Driving licence – To travel between sites when required.
UK driving licence - Must be over 21 years old due to insurance requirements.
