Our client who specialises in the distribution of medical equipment based in Basildon has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role is to join a growing team to successfully manage the daily demands for a distribution operation.
Key responsibilities
Adopt a hands on structured and proactive approach.
Be responsible for managing warehouse related business processes.
Check goods received and confirmed condition.
Conduct picking and packing of planned orders.
Complete general warehouse administration duties.
Maintain regular part stock checks.
Assist with addressing the training needs of colleagues.
Engage with team members.The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, able to prioritise & organise your own workload and can work under pressure.
Working Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30pm.
The salary for this position is £25,000 per annum
