Mechanical Design Engineer – Cambridge - £55k
Hexwired have partnered with a company at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing. Using instrumentation products which have been successfully tested in laboratory conditions, they are advancing to get more commercial-ready products.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working on leading aerospace technology and creating different designs from concept to final product. They are looking for candidates with a strong interest in aerospace to join their fast-growing team of engineers.
Key skills required for this Mechanical Design Engineer role:
* Experience with CAD software packages from Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks, among others.
* Engineering Undergraduate Degree (preferably mechanical or aerospace engineering)
* Experience with CAD thermal simulation packages (Desired)
* Experience with finite element studies, ideally using FEMap or Ansys (Desired)
The salary for this Mechanical Design Engineer role will be £55,000 per annum. Benefits include a 5% pay rise every July, an opportunity to join one of the leading companies in aerospace technology and more.
