About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of schools and year groups, covering for absent teachers and providing continuity of learning for students. Whether it's covering short-term absences or longer-term placements, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning in our schools. The successful candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a flexible approach to teaching, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects and Key Stages, following the school's curriculum and policies

- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of different classes and students

- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and behavior

- Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider life of the school and contribute to its ongoing improvement

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Previous experience teaching in UK schools is desirable but not essential

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students

- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings and with different age groups

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
