Temporary-to-Permanent Position

Salary: £11.52 per hour
About Us:
We are currently seeking a skilled Assembler to join our client.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking for a temporary-to-permanent role in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Role Overview: As a Cable Assembler, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, working with cables and other materials to assemble high-quality products. On-the-job training will be provided, and you will be responsible for following written work orders, adhering to health and safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Measuring, cutting, and stripping cables to length
* Soldering and wrapping cables according to specifications
* Using hand tools and equipment effectively and safely
* Working from a job list and adapting to varying demands set by the department supervisor
* Performing electrical insulation and continuity testing
* Conducting visual checks for quality and cleanliness
* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the work area
* Writing concessions and marking up works orders when required
* Meeting output targets and standards for cable assembly
Requirements:
* Previous experience in cable assembly or a similar role preferred
* Ability to follow written work orders and detailed instructions
* Strong manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools effectively
* Good physical health and eyesight, with the ability to lift heavy objects
* Flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
