Working Hour: 37 Hours with flexibility to work part time, job sharing, working compressed hours, hybrid working options. working from different council buildings etc..

Rate: £25 to £28.50 per hour

Job Description: Case holding 16-18 year olds, statutory visits, completing CIC/pathway plans, 6 monthly reviews, liaising with Home Office and Immigration solicitors. Adhere to further statutory CIC duties regarding health and education.

- Multi-agency and partnership working.

- Managing risk and safeguarding.

As a social worker within the team, you will be case responsible for UASC from the point of their entry into Suffolk until their transition into adulthood as a care leaver.

You will be expected to work closely with the Experienced Social Worker and Consultant Social Worker in addressing new trends/concerns within our cohort of clients and draw together partner agencies in ensuring the needs of our UASC are being met.

You will be expected to offer all the statutory duties required for children in care, plus support UASC with their Asylum application which involves solicitor and home office appointments.

Be accustomed to working with translation and interpreting services when undertaking statutory visits, professionals meetings and phone contact.

Where possible, support UASC with family/friend contact.
