Senior Business Data Analyst
An Investment Banking client of ours is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to join our Risk, Control, and Compliance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for senior management reporting, utilizing data to optimize processes, and acting as a liaison between risk management functions and technologists. You will prototype and define reporting and analytical requirements in a clear and logical manner, working closely with Risk, Control, Compliance, and central reporting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively use and interpret data, including analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques
- Provide thought leadership and build consensus across multiple stakeholders
- Generate creative solutions for change-related projects
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, adjusting communication style for the target audience
- Act as a 'translator' between technological teams and the business
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in a Global Sales & Trading environment
- Experience in Agile delivery
- Proficiency in Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools
- Knowledge of SQL and Python
