A rapidly growing food industry business is now looking to add to its management team with a talented Operations Manager. Someone who thrives in a factory-focused role, managing a team and working closely with customers.
The role:
Full site accountability for Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Projects
Host customer visits and drive audits – both producers and major supermarkets
Developing robust procedures and processes to increase performance & OEE whilst driving down costs and wastage
Optimising automated state-of-the-art grading equipment to increase plant capability and performance whilst improving yield and maintaining exceptional quality standards
CI and project lead across all packing centre activities
Being a leader of the site health and safety
To meet and exceed company and customer expectations for compliance, quality, cost and delivery.

Knowledge & Experience:
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and BRCGS Food Safety requirements (essential)
Production processes (food industry essential)
Continuous improvement tools and techniques
Demonstrable change management experience and effectively managing a team.
Relevant Health, Safety & Compliance legislation understanding.
Relevant employment law understanding
What’s on Offer?
Commensurate salary,
Annual leave allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays,
Working hours are typically 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for business needs.
