Seeking a well-organised and self-motivated person interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. You will be responsible for supervising and training the Non Ferrous employees at site, ensuring the team meets safety, quality, production, customer and housekeeping standards. Working in our Hartlepool site, the successful candidate will be part of a team and work under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise scales to ensure material is being weighed & graded accurately, grade inbound loads and ensure associated paperwork is processed accurately

* Implement quality requirements designated by consumers on outbound material

* Monitor Non Ferrous inventory by scheduling deliveries in association with Non Ferrous Area Manager and Operations Manager

* Supervise Non Ferrous Operatives, conduct morning meetings, prioritise tasks and assign duties to Non Ferrous team

* Communicate with co-workers, supervisors and other personnel regarding production and operational issues

* Troubleshoot production issues and minimise downtime

* Act as liaison between management and Non Ferrous team

* Perform such other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require

* Comply with all Company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety and Community

Qualifications/Knowledge

* FLT Licence

* 360 Crane Licence

* Previous experience supervising a team

* IT Literate including Microsoft Office
