GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic Sports Coach to work in school settings in Newcastle.
Job Summary:
Sports Coach is responsible for teaching the fundamental skills and techniques required for the sport.
Sports Coach helps students understand strategies, game plans, and the nuances of the sport.
Sports Coach implements fitness programs to improve students' overall physical health and sport-specific conditioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging sports lessons and activities
Encourage and motivate students to participate and excel in physical education
Organize and oversee school sports events and competitions
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
Collaborate with other staff members to promote a holistic approach to education
Requirements:
Relevant coaching qualifications or experience
Passion for sports and working with children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students
Commitment to the well-being and development of all students
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
