Design & Technology Teacher (Full-time)

£30,000 - £46,525 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This large secondary school in Aintree, Liverpool, is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher specialising in resistant materials and hospitality to teach students at KS3 - KS4 levels and collaborate with an established team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong teaching background in Design Technology and/or Art, including product design involving wood, plastic, fabrics, and metal up to GCSE level. This is a full-time role starting in September 2024, with ongoing employment. The school, which gained specialist Sports College status in 2000, is administered by Liverpool City Council and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool. It received a 'Good' rating in all areas following its latest Ofsted inspection.
Requirements
The desired Teacher will have;
- Hold QTS in the UK
- Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels
- Confidence in teaching the current curriculum
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
