Position: Transport Manager – Waste Management

Background:
This role suits individuals with experience in roles such as Transport Controller, Depot Operations Supervisor, or Transport Supervisor, across various industries including Skips, Tippers, RoRo’s, and Logistics.
Responsibilities:
As Transport Manager in Waste Management, your primary focus will be on overseeing daily operations involving drivers and vehicles.
This includes:
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Continuous improvement of driver routes and efficiency
* Providing clear work instructions and monitoring performance
* Handling ad-hoc routing requirements
* Ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety protocols
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:
* Proven experience as a Transport Manager in Waste Management, including Skips
* Strong planning abilities and knowledge of compliance standards
* Excellent geographical familiarity with the operational area
* Demonstrated commitment and stability in past roles
* Effective communication and organizational skills
* Managers CPC certification
