A Tier-1 Aerospace Manufacturing company are now looking for a customer focused Accounts Manager to join their team.

Accounts Manager – Overview:

The Role Will involve the creation and management of operational schedules, ensuring customer expectation and requirements remain at the core of our business.

Full remit of sales order processing through to product dispatch, you will ensure the end-to-end process is completed in a timely manner, overseeing each responsibility whilst setting customer expectations on delivery, providing updates on issues, queries or delays.

You will be at the forefront leading by example providing exceptional customer service, ensuring visibility to your colleagues and the wider business.

The position will involve the manipulation of data, production of KPI’s highlighting trends and improvements to senior management thus improving our service.

Account Manager – About you:

You will possess previous experience as an Account Manager within a fast-paced environment preferably Aerospace.

Strong communication, influential skills are essential to the overall delivery of the position, both internally and externally at all levels.

Self-belief in your abilities to achieve objectives, utilising all available resources to you ensuring clear delivery of customer product in line with specification and permissions.

Experience holding difficult conversations.

Demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure, with autonomy and part of a team.

Account Manager – Person Requirements:

The ideal candidate will come from the Aerospace industry as an Account Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

* Account management experience with or for a Tier 1 or 2 customer.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages – intermediate/advanced level in excel.

* Experience of using an MRP/ERP system.

* Negotiation techniques and effective customer relationship building.

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.

* Strong communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.

* Ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate achievable plans.

* KPI driven.

* Fully flexible approach to the job role and responsibilities, flexibility with hours is essential.
