Ideally, the school would like their Teaching Assistant applicant to have a Level 2 TA qualification, however relevant experience really is the key component, should you not have these qualifications.
You will have the following capabilities in order to be successful in this Teaching Assistant role:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a smilar setting.
Experience in Phonics.
Strong communicator who is able to work alongside and support teaching staff.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent behaviour management strategies.
Set high expectations at all times.
Willing to embrace all elements of school life, and go above and beyond standard classroom expectations.
Capable in Maths & English, and comfortable with the curriculum across all key stages.As the successful Teaching Assistant you will be part of a fun, caring and passionate team, working with children who genuinely want to learn and achieve.
