We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manager to join the team selling high-performance mechanical components into demanding environments such as defence, aerospace, and subsea.

In this key role, you will be responsible for growing sales of our precision components including gears, actuators, and motors with both new and existing customers.

It is critical that you have the capability to write precise proposals for bespoke engineering requirements, and nurture key accounts growing revenue YOY.

What you will do:

Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate target markets and capture new business.
Conduct technical sales presentations highlighting our component capabilities and value proposition.
Work closely with engineering teams to understand customer requirements and product applications.
Provide expert advice and solutions to address complex technical challenges.
Negotiate and close deals while maintaining profitability and margins.
Manage entire sales cycle from lead generation through to order fulfilment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational readiness for orders.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
What you will have:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechatronics or related technical field.
5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably selling components/systems into defence, aerospace or subsea markets.
In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and materials.
Proven ability to understand and translate complex technical requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey value propositions.
Self-motivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Willingness to travel to meet with customers and partners as needed.
Strong negotiation, closing, and customer relationship management skills.
