Process Engineer - Belfast - Salary up to £40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1631
I am currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to work for an engineering organisation based in Belfast.
The organisation has supplied their products to clients all over the globe for over 60 years.
Due to internal organisational changes within the business, they have the need to appoint a Process Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Process Engineer, you will be reporting directly to the Quality Manager & responsible for driving improvements across Production. As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for supporting Production, the typical activities will include but not limited to, updating & writing new SOP's & BOMS, driving LEAN Projects in parallel with the Quality Manager, daily shopfloor walks to understand constraints, Continuous Improvement projects on machinery & processes. Overall this is a very hands on role where you will be able to drive improvements & put your own stamp on a Production facility that has been in operation for over 20 years.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Process Engineer
Electronics Background
Kaizan or Six Sigma
Experience with Continuous Improvement
LabVIEW experience (Preferred but not essential)
