Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Screeding and Insulation
Location: Rosyth, Scotland
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Duties and Responsibilities
* Initial meeting with client and assessing project scope.
* Producing accurate measures & take offs for projects.
* Producing estimates & tenders for new projects
* Produce and update procurement schedules for all projects.
* Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages.
* Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works.
* Prepare client cost reports and billing.
* Manage and monitor variations and changes.
* Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities.
* Work closely with architects and other professionals.
* Navigate and understand building regulations & codes.
* Process project paperwork and travel to sites as required.
* Monitor costs and expenditure across the construction process.
Job Requirements
* Experience of managing cost on projects within screeding, Insulation, Underfloor heating and resin flooring
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Solid experience in the construction industry
* Experienced in creating detailed cost reports.
* Experienced working within a principal building contractor
