Service Engineer Controls - The Role:
⦁ Servicing, maintaining, fault finding and providing technical support for a range of PLC, HMI, SCADA & DCS applications
⦁ Able to provide a consistent approach whilst working under own initiative, with minimal supervision and provide customers with the highest levels of service possible
⦁ Continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times, lower costs to customer & reduction in invoice queries
⦁ Have a commercial awareness and an ability to recognise and pursue new opportunities for sales, contracts & retrofits
⦁ Ensure that the quality of service provided for each customer meets or exceeds their expectations

Service Engineer Controls - The Person:
⦁ Educated to minimum HNC level or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
⦁ Relevant experience of falt finding, commissioning and maintenance of Industrial Automation PLC, HMI and SCADA
⦁ Demonstrate relevant experience in a similar or appropriate role
⦁ Determined, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication, relationship building and customer care skills
⦁ Any additional knowledge of DCS – PCS7 beneficial

The position is home based with onsite work, and teams are kept regional. There may be occasions where support across the UK is needed, however nights away are minimal typically 3-4 per month.

My client is keen to hear from individuals with experience as either a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Commissioning Engineer seeking to develop their automation and controls skills.

Ideal locations would include within and around Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Ayr, Cumbernauld, Falkirk and surrounding areas
