Job Title: Learning and Development Trainer
Salary: £25K Neg DOE
Location: Glasgow
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Position Overview:
This role entails overseeing the learning and growth of site personnel through both mandatory and spontaneous training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and evaluate training needs for both new hires and current staff members.
* Design and execute training programs tailored to meet identified needs.
* Conduct specialized training sessions focusing on job-specific skills.
* Ensure adherence to Job Specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Conduct refresher courses and provide updates on relevant topics.
* Offer ad hoc training sessions as necessary.
* Provide operational support during peak periods as part of ad hoc duties.
* Maintain and update training matrices.
* Coordinate training events, managing logistics and necessary equipment.
* Generate timely reports on project progress.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for effective delegation.
* Proficient in planning and organization, with adaptability to changing business requirements.
* Proactive, dynamic, and adept at motivating others in high-pressure environments.
* Competent in IT, particularly with Microsoft packages.
* Flexibility in working hours is a must.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English at a high level.
