Secondary Art & Design Teacher in Farnborough
Start September 2024 – Long Term Contract
Pay – £140- £235 per day (depending on experience)
Location - Farnborough
Hours - 8am – 3.30PM
Temporary Full-time with the potential to become permanent
About the role:
Supply Desk are working with a Secondary School based in Farnborough that are seeking a Art & Design teacher to support students in Key Stage 3 and 4 full time. The role will be teaching all elements of Art & Design with some general cover with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge in all areas, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships. The role is suitable for an experienced Art & Design teacher seeking a long-term contract and an ECT for Art & Design that is seeking a role in a supportive department. The School will consider unqualified Art & Design teachers that come with relevant experience teaching Art & Design. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable skills or build upon existing experience in an education setting.

The School is a mixed Secondary School based in Farnborough for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 1000 students in total. The School comes with a Good reputation and has a supportive SLT that cares deeply for the Schools values.

Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver Art & Design in a fun and engaging way that students can relate
Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
