Vehicle Technician - LCV Mechanic
£42,000 to £47,000 per annum
Aylesbury area - NO WEEKENDS
Alecto Recruitment are in working partnership with a high profiled and well-known company within the Aylesbury area. Looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their team. As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will be required to manage the repair, service, and maintenance of their fleet vehicles.
If you're a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic, qualified to NVQ L2 or equivalent.
My client operates in the local area of Aylesbury, an opportunity exists for those with NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair or equivalent and a stable workshop-based career profile, ideally gained within a Franchised Dealership or reputable independent Garage.
This role will be based within a busy workshop, carrying out service and repair on the range of fleet vehicles and MOT Testing where and when needed.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00am - 17:00pm - NO WEEKENDS
The successful candidate should be qualified to NVQ L2, L3 or equivalent and will receive industry-leading support and training to progress his/her skills within an ever-evolving and highly exciting environment.
You should be highly organised, conscientious and a great team-player with a strong work ethic, completing jobs to the highest standard along with all associated documentation. Plenty of overtime is available and a bonus system is in place, rewarding for productivity and efficiency.
About the position
The successful candidate for our Vehicle Technician position will have previous experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills.
You will be welcomed into a friendly team and can work with an exciting product. A large part of the Technician position involves:
Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
