A boutique residential and commercial surveying firm, nestled in the heart of Southwest London are actively seeking an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team.

The Assistant Building surveyor's role

This presents an exceptional opportunity for an individual at the early stages of their surveying career, who is keen to immerse themselves fully in the field and advance their professional expertise.

The role as Assistant Building Surveyor, will involve you collaborating closely with an Associate, playing a pivotal role in a variety of instruction, including involvement in dilapidations, conducting thorough surveys, managing projects, and participating in major works.

Additionally, you will contribute to fire safety assessments and the formulation and execution of planned maintenance schedules.

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will have?

BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or RICS accredited degree
Some experience or a strong interest in building surveying, particularly in residential and commercial sectors.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a hands-on approach to all tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to professional development, particularly towards APC progression.
CAD skills would be beneficial.In return?

£30,000 - £36,000
