Bid Co-ordinator Required - Central London - 12months FTC - £35,000 - £45,000 DOE - *Experience with InDesign is a must*
I'm currently working with a well renowned construction company based in Central London who are looking to recruit a Bid Co-ordinator for their Estimating and Tender team. This is a Fixed term contract maternity cover position. However given current workload and projections of workload for the next 12 months, there is a possibility this role could become permanent for the right person.
The candidate will have to have good communication, both over the telephone and via email, be able to work in a high paced environment with tight deadlines. Some experience in putting tenders together would be good, and experience within M&E construction would be highly beneficial.
Duties include:
- To support and service new business through the full end-to-end proposal process. This includes the preparation and co-ordination of activities related to the pursuit of an opportunity, collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop high scoring responses, the formatting of information into the proposal template and submitting final tender documentation.
- Using InDesign to build tenders/proposals that are of high quality, reflecting our company
- values. Managing the tender template library, ensuring templates are relevant and kept up to date within the latest brand guidelines. Develop high-quality, structured written proposals by coordinating all relevant departments to ensure all activities and content is collated and documents managed to meet tender deadlines.
- Prepare teams for tender interviews and produce the necessary presentation documentation
-Contribute to commercial activity such as sector analysis, trend analysis and develop strategies to win business for a variety of services.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Bid/Proposal Co-ordination
- InDesign - Intermediate level
- Microsoft Word/Excel - Intermediate level
- GCSEs and A-levels or equivalent
- Certificate in Marketing or a similar field is desirable
