We are recruiting a Concrete Supervisor on behalf of our client, a Builders Work in Connection Specialist, for sites across London.
As the Concrete Supervisor, you will be accountable for overseeing day-to-day operations at construction sites. Your primary focus will be to ensure all tasks are executed to the highest standards of health, safety, and quality, while adhering to specified timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising site personnel & managing all concrete operations.
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Environmental legislation, and both client and company protocols
* Adhering to contract specifications, identifying scope changes, and highlighting any variations
* Managing Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS)
* Following project schedules
* Developing short-term schedules for specific tasks
* Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
* Notifying clients of any project delays
* Procuring and receiving necessary equipment and materials
* Keeping client team members informed of any changes or updates
* Handling Requests for Information (RFIs) from clients
* Maintaining Daily Record Sheets
* Compiling weekly progress reports
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Hold a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate
* Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry (concrete).
* Hold certifications in IPAF/PASMA and Asbestos Awareness
* Demonstrate strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
* Exhibit effective communication skills
* Optional: Hold a 4-day First Aid Certificate
* Optional: Hold certification in Temporary Works Coordination
* Hold a valid UK driving license
