Role: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Working times: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

Start: ASAP

A high performing academic school in the Borough of Crewe are on the hunt for an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for a start in September.

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school with the highest academic aspirations, but also where a caring, family-orientated culture is maintained throughout.

This EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve working with children who have SEN. (EHCP and / or ASD diagnosis) You will support the children to meet academic and social targets and encourage progress in both aspects. You will be well supported by the SEN / teaching teams and receive fortnightly additional training on SEN.

EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

·Working in Early Years provision

·Working with children aged 2 – 5 years old

·Working with SEN – EHCP and / or ASD diagnosis

·Supporting children on a 1:1 and in a small group basis

·Working both in and out of the classroom

·Working closely alongside the SENCO and other professionals

·Strong academics across the board – Degree, A levels and GCSEs

·Experience in a previous SEN role or personal experience with SEN essential

·Calm and compassionate nature

·Willing to go above and beyond for the children that you support

·Must be able to use your own initiative – in & out of the classroom
