THE 2ND LINE IT SUPPORT ROLE:
Overall, you'll be handling complex technical problems promptly and efficiently.
Throughout keeping accurate records and maintaining a knowledge base.
Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall support experience for clients.
Participating in project work and providing input on technical solutions.
Staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry updates ensures you can provide the best support possible.
Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure that you can provide the best possible support and contribute to a positive work environment.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience as a 2nd Line Support Engineer.
At least one of the following certifications is preferred: MCITP, MCP, A+, N+, Apple
Experience with:
TCP/IP and troubleshooting internet connectivity.
Routers and SonicWALL, DrayTek firewalls.
Network switching
Terminal Services & Citrix.
Server hardware technologies.
Data backup and recovery support.
Understanding of DNS services.
Wireless technologies.
Strong knowledge of server operating systems
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac troubleshooting and configuration
Ideally, knowledge of networking and firewalls
Must be London-based.
We highly value previous experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
SALARY & BENEFITS YOU’LL RECEIVE AS 2ND LINE IT SUPPORT:
£32,000 - £35,000 base salary
Monthly agreement efficiency bonus (up to 20% of salary).
20 days holiday (increasing with tenure up to 25) + birthday holiday + public holidays.
