Established Wellingborough based Manufacturing business is looking for a hands on empathetic people focused General Manager to join their organisation with the opportunity to work up towards a non- executive M.D position. The company currently turns over in excess of £2.5m and employs 15 staff.
Offering a basic salary of £45 - 50k upwards ( negotiable) with room for progression. Monday to Friday working ( 40hrs per week) and possible performance/ profit related bonus.
The ideal candidate will have worked as a General manager or will have held a similar position from an SME Manufacturing/ Production environment previously .
The successful General Manager will have
·Good commercial understanding
·Be preparing and reviewing daily operational requirement
·Monitoring staff performance, administrating training, recruitment and development skills across all levels
·Have experience of leading and developing a diverse team
·Conducting periodic employee appraisals
·Reviewing periodic reports and adjusting operations to better meet company goals
·Strong communicator of processes and procedures
·Complete administration, including weekly, monthly and annual stock take duties
·Applying and working within and implementing ISO 9001 - Quality Control standard
·Applying and working within and implementing ISO 45001 - Occupational Health and safety Standards Formulate strategic and operational objectives
·Reporting to Board level - Company director(s)
In return the company is offering a salary range of between £45 -50k plus (negotiable) a friendly empathetic family feel environment and progression.
