REPORTS TO - Sales Manager

KEY RELATIONSHIPS - Project Sales Manager Estimators Sales team Engineers

Working as part of the wider sales team, based in our office, and responsible for following up estimates, dealing with enquiries over the phone with engineers, and liaising with new customer sales opportunities, meeting both individual and team revenue targets and budgets.

Utilising your negotiation skills to identify sales opportunities, building relationships with Pimlico’s network of Engineers and acting as the main point of contact for all customers, ensuring a premium service. Ensuring the sales process is followed correctly and maintaining high levels of communication with all involved in projects from customers to engineers. This is a fast paced and busy environment, where working together to ensure targets are met is a core part of the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -

Following up on new enquiries for smaller works, from our engineers, and leads from our website and contact centre.

· Communicating and building rapport with Pimlico customers and engineers on a high-volume basis.

· Following up on engineers’ previous estimates and recommendations as required.

· Negotiating existing quotations with customers and helping to plan design where required.

· Liaising with Engineers and Project Sales Managers.

· Working with Project Sales Managers for estimate follow up if needed.

· Collating data onto Excel spreadsheets on forecasts and pipelines to report data back to management.

· Working to revenue targets and KPI’S – both individually and as a team.

· Ensuring all related administration, including systems, is managed and updated effectively.

· Ensuring invoices and payments are up to date.

EXPERIENCE -
- Familiar working to targets in a busy environment.
- Experienced in speaking to customers over the phone and able to manage challenging conversations.
- Experienced in creating estimates and quotes and working to revenue targets and KPI’s.
- Ability to manage projects at different stages.
- Experienced in managing high value accounts or customers.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE -
- Excellent negotiation skills and skilled in building rapport and working at pace.
- Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and through written communication along with the ability to organise and prioritise.
- Skilled in taking a structured approach.
- A drive to meet targets, using your own initiative but recognising the need for collaboration and team work
