Key Account Manager
£40,000 Basic + Excellent Commission + Car + Mobile + Laptop + Pension + Private Healthcare + 23 days up to 28 Days holiday + Banks
The Company
My client is one of the market leading companies of its kind within the UK. They supply Food Ingredients into the Food and Beverage Manufacturing sector. Currently looking to recruit a Key Account Manager / Business Manager for their central region – West Midlands, South Central Midlands, Northern Home Counties.
The Role
This opportunity requires a talented and driven externally based account manager with a history of working on a large number of established house accounts, ensuring that business is both maintained and cultivated. They would also prospect new customers to drive sales forward for the area and company.
The Candidate
* Have experience in dealing with a number of “house” accounts already on the books in regards to customer service, communication, order processing, problem-solving etc.
* Be comfortable with an element of cold calling as well as generating their own leads via internet research/social media/press and other channels.
* Must be able to work well on their own and as part of a sales team.
* Have the ability to work towards set KPIs and sales targets.
* Good time management
* A solid understanding of how to maximise profit/loss & turnover/margin.
* Good attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills.
* Happy to stay away from home to effectively maximise working hours and sales opportunities.
* Enthusiastic, confident, and sociable.
* Prior product/market knowledge is preferred.
* Full Driver’s License
