Job Title: Senior Team Leader - Adults with Learning Disabilities

Our Client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Team Leader to oversee three homes for adults with learning disabilities within our organization. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to a team of dedicated staff members, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care and support to all residents.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of three residential homes for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Providing leadership and supervision to a team of support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Developing and implementing care plans and support strategies in collaboration with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
Monitoring the quality of care and support provided, conducting regular assessments and evaluations, and implementing improvements as needed.
Promoting a culture of inclusion, dignity, and respect within the homes, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment among residents.
Liaising with external agencies, professionals, and community resources to ensure the holistic well-being of residents.
Managing budgets and resources effectively, including overseeing the allocation of staff hours and resources across the three homes.
Acting as a role model and mentor to staff, promoting professional development and continuous learning.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a leadership role within the field of learning disabilities or a related sector.
A thorough understanding of person-centered approaches and best practices in supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
Sound decision-making abilities and the capacity to manage complex situations effectively.
A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care).
Willingness to travel between the three homes as required.
