The Office and Sales Assistant Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual for a very busy, vibrant and thriving manufacturing company. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask, work well under pressure and possess excellent customer service skills.
Duties will include:
Respond to customer sales inquiries promptly and professionally via telephone, email, or quotations.
Utilise the internal stock control system to generate price quotes and advise on delivery times for items available in our stockholding.
Provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information regarding our products.
Process sales orders efficiently and accurately.
Sales prospecting.
Collaborate with internal departments as needed.
Follow up on quotations to ensure customer satisfaction and conversion.
Support Sales Order Processing during peak periods or staff absences.
Perform additional tasks within your capabilities to ensure the smooth operation of the company.
Key Skills Required of the Office and Sales Assistant
Previous experience in a sales or customer service role preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including MS Office suite.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
A proactive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be offered a full-time permanent position within the company. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00 with 30mins for lunch
