We’re ambitious, we’re passionate and we’re brave - always looking for ways to grow, improve and be the best we can be!Role Summary:The Sustainability Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our corporate sustainability strategy. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, set ambitious sustainability goals, and drive initiatives that align with our values and objectives.
Develop a comprehensive sustainability strategy that integrates environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into our business operations
Establish ambitious sustainability goals in alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations
Identify opportunities to reduce our environmental impact across all aspects of our operations, including energy consumption, waste management, water usage and supply chain logistics
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, build partnerships, and communicate our sustainability efforts
Provide training and educational resources to employees to raise awareness of sustainability issues and empower them to contribute to our sustainability goals
Ensure accurate and transparent reporting of sustainability metrics, in compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks
Monitor progress towards sustainability goals, conduct regular assessments, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency
Identify and mitigate sustainability-related risks, such as regulatory changes, supply chain disruptions, and reputational risks
Achieve BCorp certificationExperience, Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in corporate sustainability and ESG reporting
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change within the Company
Previous experience with LEED or BCorp certifications (preferable but not essential)
Strong understanding of environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices
Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Project management experienceWhat We Offer:
A salary up to £35,000 (dependant on experience & working hours)
Full-time and part-time options available
