The Children's Commissioning Team has a wide-ranging agenda in delivering key strategic programmes and plays an important role in driving change and innovation to improve children and young people's futures. We are seeking to recruit 3 Commissioning Officers to join our small, supportive and busy team on an ambitious programme of transformation.

1 post is available as a permanent position and 2 are for a fixed term of 12 months which may be taken as a secondment - ideal for anyone not yet, but interested in becoming a commissioner with transferable skills in communication, engagement, negotiation, data analysis, report writing and reflection.

The roles will play a vital part in the development of exciting initiatives which involve co-design with those who use services and our partners, developing specifications, determining routes to market, working with procurement colleagues and ongoing provider relationship management.

We are looking for people with a passion for making a positive difference by bringing new ideas and approaches to how we deliver our services. You will be a team player, able to work collaboratively across a complex system with multiple partners to bring about change.
