Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Gloucester, GL1
Pay Rate: £18 p/h + Bonus scheme
Contract: Permanent
gap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting for CNC Machinist, with good knowledge and experience working on machinery up to and including 5axis and using HAAS. The company is a leading business with expertly machined components in a variety of materials.
Successful candidate must demonstrate good knowledge of operating required machinery and be able to move a tool or a part in five different axes simultaneously.
Main Duties as CNC Machinist
* Prepare and operate machine to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding or milling
* Being able to read and understand G and M codes
* Ability to read engineering drawings to perform required task
* Translate instructions into computer commands
* Produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency
* Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
Working Hours:
* Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm / Friday 7am - 1pm
Hourly Pay Rates
* Basic Rate - £18.00 p/h
The above role is on permanent basis, 2 stages interview may be required for the position.
