Quality Manager, Quedgeley
Full time, permanent role - £45,000 per annum
Job Purpose: Manage and maintain an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO9001 and ISO14001. Ensure manufacturing quality, legal compliance, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) responsibilities are met. Provide guidance and implement solutions to maintain quality and safety standards. Oversee a team of 4 and report to senior management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage the integrated ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 systems in a manufacturing environment.
* Coordinate with senior management and act as a QHSE support function.
* Complete and report on monthly KPIs, conduct audit management reviews, and ensure legal compliance with environmental regulations.
* Supervise health, safety, and environmental arrangements with the help of a small team.
* Maintain documentation, including procedures, supporting documents, and SOPs.
* Conduct internal audits, identify non-conformances, and collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions.
* Support external audit reviews and site inspections.
* Handle daily quality issues and problem-solving.
* Complete site risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Experience as a QHSE Engineer in a senior quality or management role.
* Experience managing a team.
* Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015.
* Trained lead auditor for ISO9001/14001.
* Familiar with PPAP level 3 and IMDS submissions.
* Proficiency with conventional inspection equipment and CAD systems.
* Skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
