Outstanding opportunity for a dynamic Pre Press Operator / Artworker possessing extensive practical experience of using Caldera RIP software to lead the pre press transition & development of an impressively invested Large Format Digital & Screen Printing Signage Production facility within a fantastically diverse Group of Businesses.
Family owned, they have grown over the last thirty years into an amazing Business employing over 200 dedicated people, including a highly specified Print Production facility & occupying 100,000 square feet of warehouse, factory and office space. They manufacture and sell a diverse range of products from outdoor furniture, safety and fire signs, outdoor shelters and workwear, to medical and hygiene products, gloves, first aid supplies, facilities and safety products.
Based within the safety signs manufacturing department, this PrePress Operator role involves using Caldera along with other production software, to collect and allocate files for print on various substrates, following production rules & ensuring the best use of material and efficient turnarounds. Instigated by recent ongoing investments in Production machinery & new processing software, the role will draw on your experience to lead the technical transition from using Fiery RIP across to Caldera RIP, so you will posses a high attention to detail, a diversity of practical print experience (ideally in Large Format Digital and/or Screen) and a demonstrable practical experience and knowledge of using Caldera RIP.
Role requirements:
* Minimum two years practical experience using Caldera RIP
* Acquired Large Format Digital and/or Screen Print Industry experience
* Experienced in using Illustrator & Adobe Creative Suite
* Professionally developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster strong working relationships
* Sound judgement, with the ability and willingness to make decisions
* Adaptability and flexible within a dynamic working environment
* High attention to detail, with an ability to concentrate for long periods, working independently and as part of a dedicated team
* Proven problem solving skills & an ability to meet deadlines and prioritise
