Manpower are recruiting on behalf of our national client for candidates to join their Neighbourhood cleaning team.
You will be responsible for cleaning public toilets across the local area. There will be 3 specific locations to cover in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. The locations will be Shepton, Street & Glastonbury. The role will include general cleaning, disinfecting & mopping as well as replenishing the facilities within the toilets. You will also report any maintenance or defects to your manager.

Your shift can start from either 6am or 7am and it will take around 5 hours to complete your route.

A vehicle will be provided to cover your route which must be returned to the depot after each shift.

You will need to ensure a safe working environment is always maintained and carry out day to day maintenance and checks on all equipment as well as required paperwork.

The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.

This is a 6 week assignment however there may be a possibility of extension depending on team capacity & workload.

To succeed, you will need:

Previous cleaning experience.
Previous experience within a public setting is preferred however not essential.
To be comfortable cleaning bodily fluids.
To be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Hold a full valid UK Driving License with no more than 6 penalty points.
Willingness to learn & open to training.
