Our client are a leader in their field - a well respected and well recognised Wedding Specialist  working with some of the UK's most stunning venues.
The Role
The client currently have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a Venue/ General Manager for a beautiful exclusive use venue surrounded by 7 acres of English countryside in the heart of Wiltshire. Located within easy reach of Bristol, Reading and London, it’s the ultimate countryside escape for memorable experiences and seasonal dining.
With 18 bedrooms lush landscapes and a private vineyard, the venue features a formal dining space in the Orangery. There’s also a covered outdoor terrace & kitchen and a separate bar and lounge with a dance floor.

Requirements
The client is looking for a Venue Manager with a Commercial focus and also a strong team/ people focus
Additionally requirements as follows:
Knowledge of event planning and management
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs related to event planning and management
Experience with budgeting and cost control
