Recruiting now for a Fulfilment Manager to join an independently owned Logistics provider that spans the UK.

The purpose of the Fulfilment Manager role is to oversee and optimise the end-to-end process of order fulfilment within the organisation You will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the fulfilment operation, including stock management, order processing, people / resource management and training.

Experience / Skills required for the Fulfilment Manager role:

* Minimum of 1 years management experience in a warehouse / fulfilment operation

* IT Literate - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel & in-house systems

* Strong people skills with ability to build good relationships with colleagues, customers & suppliers

* Ability to multi-task

* Solution driven

* Persuasive and professional approach

* Problem solving - ability to think critically, using available resources to address problems and find solutions

Key Duties / Responsibilities for the Fulfilment Manager role:

Staff Management:

* Managing staff morale, training and development

* Performance management of staff, including managing KPI's & time management

* Responsible for management of holidays, absence, return to work, conflict management and first-line disciplinary actions.

Health & Safety:

* Ensure Health & Safety procedures & best practices are followed by colleagues, customers & suppliers at all times.

* Follow procedures for accidents / near miss reporting and investigation

Compliance:

* Ensure adherence and compliance with all in-house policies, systems and procedures

* Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in line with client operations to optimise efficiency and accuracy

Stock / Inventory Management:

* Oversee all aspects of order fulfilment, from processing to shipping preparation to ensure timely & accurate order delivery

* Ensuring a minimum stock accuracy of 95%

* Monitor client inventory levels to prevent stock shortages & communicate with clients regarding inventory requirements
