Seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join the Plymouth office. As a key member of the team, you will oversee and manage mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, coupled with exceptional project management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage mechanical aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of mechanical systems within project timelines.
* Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement proactive measures to mitigate issues and ensure project success.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in mechanical project management within the construction industry, with project expereicne greater then £1m+
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
* Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
