In a world now dominated by iPhones, Tiktok and social media, it has never been more important to have passionate and enthused teachers to deliver focused lessons, ensuring pupils are fully engaged in their education.

As we fast approach the end of the Summer Term, Educate are looking ahead to September and working closely with a number of schools across Wrexham and Denbighshire in need of both experienced and newly qualified teachers to work on an ad hoc basis.

Your role will be flexible, offering vital support to a number of local schools needing cover throughout the year for things like staff absence, courses or maternity leave.

You will be seen as an extra member of the team at each school, building connections and fostering strong working relationships with the pupils you teach.

Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
Follow school policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Requirements of a Primary Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage behaviour effectively
A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
Flexibility and adaptability
Registrations required to be a Primary Teacher:

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
