Are you seeking your next role as a Financial Controller in the Cardiff area?
Offering a highly competitive salary, my client has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will lead the Finance Department, as part of a team of 3, working closely with the Procurement Department.
Duties:
Manage day to day accounting operations - billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, inventory accounting
Sole responsibility for the management of cash flow and its accuracy, working alongside the Procurement Team when forecasting
Create (and independently drive) actionable analysis for company leadership
Support the business with the financial strategy, using your experience to ensure the business is as efficient as possible
Implement best practice across the finance department processes - ensuring those processes are streamlined, scalable, accurate and documented clearly
Develop finance policies, internal controls and ensure compliance
Lead the preparation of analysis for board meetingsRequirements:
It's essential that you are ACA/ACCA qualified
5+ year's experience
Have the confidence to lead a small team, delegating work and communicate with senior stakeholders
