A&G Resourcing Ltd is looking for a Recruitment Administrator / Resourcer to join their successful office team in Newport Town Centre.

We are a family run, independent recruitment company specialising in Driving and Industrial sector.

What you can expect from us:

* Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience

* Working hours: 36.5h/week

Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 16:30pm

Friday early finish! 8:30am – 15:30pm

* 22 days annual leave plus an additional day for your Birthday plus statutory holidays

The Role:

This role is crucial to our business as you will be first point of contact for candidates.

You will be responsible for Office administration in general (for candidates and clients). general sales support (assisting the consultants) This will include a wide variety of duties such as;

* Candidates registration

* Answering and transferring calls

* Payroll (internal – timesheets entries only)

* Registering candidates in person / over the phone

* Taking bookings for both temporary and permanent candidates.

* Resourcing and searching for candidates to fill our vacancies

* Advertising job vacancies across a number of platforms and responding to applications

* Completing extensive vetting procedures on candidates prior to placing on assignments which would include; completing verbal references, checking qualifications, completing eligibility to live and work in the UK Checks.

* Placing candidates on assignments

* Keeping in regular contact with candidates on assignments

* On call service

* On sites clients visits

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have worked in recruitment (as an Administrator or Resourcer); or admin/reception role & be looking for their next challenge. It’s a demanding, fast-paced role where attention to detail is vital as is the ability to function at a high level within a team environment.

We will spend the time to train, nurture and develop your knowledge, skills and confidence and give you all the support and tools you need to succeed.

* An organised administrator

* Prior recruitment experience would be beneficial although not essential

* Highly IT literate with Excel proficiency

* Confident communicator

* Self-motivated and results-oriented

* Excellent phone manner

* High attention to detail

* A quick learner

* Must have Driving licence and own transport
